| What is your Affiliate Program? |
| Our affiliate program let's you earn commissions for sales on our website from customers that were referred by your website. Once you sign up, you can place links to our products and category pages from your site. When a customer clicks one of your links and makes a purchase on our website, you will be credited for the sale and receive a commission on each sale. We give you the tools you need to set up links on your site, as well as password protected access to track your sales. |
| Why should I sign up to the Affiliate Program? |
| Earn a commission of 2.5% of the value of each sale. While this may not sound like much at first, it adds up fast. The more sales we make from customers referred by you, the more you earn. It's free and easy to join. Besides, you have nothing to lose. |
| Will my website qualify for the Affiliate Program? |
| Anyone can sign up for free. We reserve the right to revoke your affiliate status at our discretion. For example, websites which we deem contain inappropriate content such as unlawful, harmful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, obscene content, pornographic or sexually explicit materials, and discriminatory content are not eligible for our Affiliate Program. |
| I live outside Canada, can I still join the Affiliate Program? |
| Anybody inside or outside Canada can sign up. However, only Canadian affiliates have the option to receive commission payments by cheque or PayPal. All other affiliates will be compensated via PayPal. This is because foreign bank fees and charges would take up a significant proportion cheque payments. |
| How much will I get paid for orders that were referred from my site? |
You will be paid a commission of 2.5% on all Qualifying Purchases (as defined in the Affiliate Agreement) that occur during a linked session from your site.
Commission rates will be based on the amount actually paid to MiniDisc-Canada.com for Qualifying Purchases, excluding sales taxes, shipping, handling, duties, and similar charges, amounts due to credit card fraud and bad debt, and credits for returned goods ("Net Sales"). Please note that product cancellations and merchandise returns will be deducted from gross sales. |
| What payment method will be used to pay me? |
| Affiliates located in Canada have the option to receive payments by Cheque or via PayPal. Affiliates outside Canada will receive commission payments via PayPal only. This is because foreign bank fees and charges would take up a significant proportion a cheque payments. We highly recommend that all affiliates select PayPal as their method of payment. PayPal payments are received quickly and all that is you need to receive a payment is an email address. |
| When do I get paid? |
| Payments are made on a monthly basis approximately 30 days after the end of each month. When the total commissions due to you exceed fifty Canadian dollars ($50.00 CAD), a commission check or PayPal payment (for affiliates outside Canada) in Canadian dollars will be sent to you for the applicable commission. If at the end of each month period your earned commissions are less than $50.00 CAD, such earned commissions will be held and accumulated until such time that the earned commission equals $50.00 CAD or more at which point they will be paid as indicated above. |
