Return Policy
We are committed to total customer satisfaction and have the following return policy which we feel is fair. Please read before ordering.
Our blank MiniDiscs come with a one year MiniDisc-Canada.com guarantee. If you have a defective disc you can exchange it for a new one (In the unlikely event that a disc arrives cracked you have 7 business days to send it back).
Each product page has warranty information with it. Please check each product to find out the length of time for each warranty. For example, items that are labeled with a "1 year MiniDisc Canada warranty" are guaranteed to be free from manufacturer defects for 1 year from the date of purchase. The product may be repaired if a defect is found within that time period. If the unit arrives in defective condition, you may return it within 7 days with an RMA number issued by us.
Portable MiniDisc players/recorders that are labeled with a "Canadian warranty" can be taken to your nearest service center for free repair or replacement. If you're in the U.S.A. or another country and you have a Canadian product, the manufacturers will generally repair your product for free within the warranty period, but they don't have to.
Other Canadian Electronic products come with a 1 year Canadian warranty. Again, if you're outside Canada and you have a Canadian product, the manufacturers will usually, but are not obligated to, repair your product for free.
All Japanese units come with Japanese warranties. If your Japanese unit breaks, you may have to mail it back to Japan to have it fixed if you want free warranty service. A low cost alternative to this would be to buy one of our extended warranties.
We guarantee all products will arrive in working condition however all sales are final. We cannot refund your order. This is because many products models change frequently and are often not available. If a defective product arrives you have 7 business days to return it after which we will send you a functional replacement or issue a refund. In order to return an item, please contact us to receive an RMA number. Returns without RMA numbers will not be accepted.Ø
If you cancel your order before the item is shipped, we have to charge a 3% transaction fee on the total value of your order if you paid by credit card. This is because we are charged this amount by the credit card companies to process credits.
